Information
With its lemony, full-bodied taste and earthy notes, Transmontano goat’s cheese is excellent for grilling or crumbling over a summer salad. Served as a table cheese, it pairs beautifully with a Tawny Port or a fruity white wine. It is made from the milk of hardy mountain goats, whose herds are moved from high to low altitudes in winter, with spring marking the milking and cheese making season.
