Information
Created by monks in the Munster Valley in the 7th century as a way of preserving milk, this French cheese is recognised by its washed orange rind, creamy texture and pronounced aroma. Despite its strong aroma, its flavour is balanced and slightly salty. Ideal with rustic bread, baked potatoes or an aromatic white wine.
