Coffee Panna Cotta

Ingredients

  • 200ml milk
  • 200ml cream
  • 80g sugar (or to taste)
  • 80ml strong coffee (or to taste)
  • 8g plain gelatine
  • Vanilla extract to taste

Method

Warm the milk, cream and sugar in a pan over a low heat, stirring continuously. Allow the sugar to dissolve and add the gelatine. When dissolved, remove from the heat and add the coffee and the vanilla. Bear in mind that the mixture should never reach a boil.

Leave to cool slightly and pour out into small dishes, or moulds. Cool in the fridge for 4 hours or until set.

 

Serve as they are or sprinkle/drizzle with chocolate, walnuts, cinnamon or caramel.
