Crème Caramel

Method

Make the caramel: Over a medium heat, place 150 g of sugar and the water in a pan, stir until the sugar melts and forms a syrup. Pour the caramel syrup into ramekins or individual tins. Leave to cool.

In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients until they form a smooth batter. Pour the mixture into the moulds and cover with foil.

Bake in a bain-marie in a preheated oven at 150ºC. After 40 min they will be firm and ready, but always check after 30 min.Remove, leave to cool, remove from the tins and set aside, chilled.
