Ingredients
- 60ml Reposado tequila (‘rested’ tequila)
- 30ml Crème de Cassis
- 30ml Lime juice
- 60-90ml Ginger beer or ginger ale
- 1 Slice of lime
- Ice cube
Method
Fill a high glass (approx. 300ml) with ice cubes. Add the crème de cassis, lime juice and tequila and mix. Finish off by filling the glass with ginger beer, mixing gently with a spoon and decorate with a slice of lime.
Tip:
The tequila, crème de cassis and lime juice can be mixed in a shaker or with a spoon.
For a less alcoholic version, without losing the berry notes of the crème de cassis, you can swap this for hibiscus syrup.
