Empty CartTurmeric Tonic

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp fresh turmeric
- 1 tbsp ginger
- Juice ½ lemon
- 2-3 glasses water
- Pinch black pepper or cayenne pepper
- Honey to taste (optional)
Method
Grate the turmeric and ginger. Place in a small saucepan, adding the black pepper, lemon juice and water. Bring to a boil over a medium heat. Remove and strain.
If necessary, sweeten with honey, to taste.
Serve hot as a tea or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
If it gets too strong dilute with hot or warm water.
