Tartiflette

Ingredients
- 1.3kg potatoes
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion
- 200g bacon
- 150ml white wine
- 200ml cream
- 1 Reblochon cheese
- 1 clove garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Peel the potatoes and halve. Cook them in salted water for 10 minutes until they are soft but solid. Strain and leave to cool.
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the potatoes into small 2-cm cubes. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a pan and sauté until golden brown. Cut the cheese in half horizontally. Chop the onion very finely and fry in a little butter until golden. Add the bacon and continue frying for 2-3 minutes more. Finally, add the wine and cook over a low heat until it has almost evaporated. Remove from the heat and add the cream.
Place the potatoes in an oven dish. Sprinkle with pepper. Cover with the onion, bacon, wine and cream. Place the Reblochon cheese sliced in two on top.
Bake in the oven for 15min. To make it crispier, grill for another 5 minutes under the oven grill. Serve hot.
