  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt (approx. 1/8 teaspoon)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (coconut, soya, sunflower)
  • 3 tbsp plant-based ‘milk’
  • 1-2 tbsp vegan chocolate chips/chunks (10-20g)
  • Vanilla extract to taste

Method

Place the dry ingredients in a mug and mix well. Add the plant-based ‘milk’ and the fat and mix until smooth. Finally add the chocolate chips and microwave for 40 seconds, for a moist brownie style cake. For a dry cake, leave it for a further 10-20 seconds.
