Contest Conditions

1. CONTEST ORGANISER
Apolónia Supermercados S.A., legal entity no. 502442786, with its head office registered at Avenida 5 de Outubro, no. 271, 8135-853 Almancil, hereinafter referred to as Apolónia ("organiser” or "Apolónia”).

2. SCOPE OF THE CONTEST
The contest, known as the "2025 Wine and Cheese Fair Contest”, which runs from 8.00 am on September 04, 2025 to 11.59 pm on September 30, 2025, has the aim of offering three prizes to three different people:
- 1 (one) Mercedes-AMG experience, held at the Algarve International Racetrack;
- 1 (one) dinner for 2 (two) people at Authentic restaurant, with drinks included;
- 1 (one) wine tasting session for 2 (two) people in the Wine Cellar at Vila Vita Parc.

Entries made outside the entry period will not be valid.

3. PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

3.1. PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER:
The contest is open to all customers of the three physical stores and the Apolónia online store, aged 18 or over ("entrants”), who have purchased products for personal or family consumption. Retailers, distributors, or any customers who are not end consumers are not eligible to enter.
Partners, directors or employees of the organiser, as well as employees and collaborators of the service providers involved in this initiative, are not eligible to enter the contest.

3.2. ENTRY CONDITIONS:
Requirements to enter:
a) The purchase of six or more bottles of wine, port, sparkling wine or champagne between September 04 and 21, 2025, at any Apolónia store (Almancil, Galé, Lagoa or online).
For every six bottles purchased, a coupon will be given to the customer by a member of the checkout staff, with a QR code to access the entry access website: win.apolonia.com. 

b) The entry form on the website must be filled in with the following details: full name, address, email address, telephone number and country of origin. Only the full name and email address are a compulsory requirement. The provision of personal data when registering on the platform for the purposes of managing this competition is an essential condition for entry, without which the entry cannot be accepted. Refusal by entrants to provide any of the mandatory information requested will prevent them from submitting their entry for this contest.

c) While still on the website, each entrant must validate their entry by entering the details found on the sales receipt, in particular the code, date and time, as indicated on the website, as well as the entry code found on each coupon provided at the time of purchase.

d) Finally, while on the website, entrants must answer the question: "How many different wines does Apolónia stock in its wine section?”.

4. ENTRY CRITERIA
a) Any customer can enter the contest on more than one occasion, as long as they have more than one entry coupons to do so.

b) Only one prize per customer will be awarded.

c) The winning entries will be made public on the Apolónia Instagram profile page on October 10, 2025, and put on display in the reception area of Apolónia stores.

5. PRIZE ALLOCATION
a) Only three entrants will be chosen as winners during the entirety of the contest period.

b) The three entrants who correctly answer the question and have a valid entry will receive a prize.

c) In the event that there are three, or more, entrants that have answered with the exact number of different wines stocked in the Apolónia wine section, the prizes will be awarded according to the order in which the entries were made.

d) In the event that no entrant has answered with the exact number, the prizes will be awarded to the entrants that have come closest to the number. In the event of a tie, the order in which the entries were made will also be taken into consideration.

e) The first winner will be awarded the Mercedes-AMG Experience; the second winner will be awarded the dinner at Authtentic restaurant; the third winner will be awarded the wine tasting session at Vila Vita Parc.

f) Three substitute winners will also be selected in the event that any of the previous winners do not respond when they have been contacted, or whose entry is invalid for any reason.

g) After the winners of the competition have been determined, the organiser will verify all the data provided by the entrants, including personal data and, if necessary, other access data registered by the contest platform. The organiser may also, at its discretion, request that entrants provide receipts for the products used to enter the contest. If this request is made, the receipts must be presented in order for the prize to be awarded. 

h) In the event of non-compliance with any of the provisions of these entry regulations, the entry will not be considered valid, and the prize will be awarded to a substitute entry.
