Price Policy
Unless otherwise specified, the prices shown on the Apolónia website are only valid on the day the order is placed, and remain in force for the customer who places the order on this same day, regardless of the delivery date. All items shown on the site are subject to stock availability at the time the item is picked for delivery in the respective store. Missing items will not be invoiced. Customers can specify in their preferences if they would like out-of-stock items to be replaced by similar products. In the event of replacement, the invoiced price will not be that of the product originally ordered, rather that of the replacement product. The prices shown, excepting typos, publication mistakes or lack of stock, include VAT and are valid for the Apolónia website only and for the day on which they are advertised. The prices and product specifications are subject to change without prior notification. For reasons of product weight variation and product replacement, the order amount may vary +3% and -3%, provided it is validated by the customer.
For card payments online the respective amount will be debited from the customer's bank account on the day the order is shipped to the customer, and the final amount is shown on the invoice delivered by our employee. When it comes to card payments made on delivery, the final amount will also be shown on the invoice delivered by our employee.
Refund and Returns Policy
The Apolónia website sees the quality of its products and services as its number one priority. If, however, you are not satisfied with a given product,whether it is faulty or not, you will be able to return it to our employee on delivery. If you paid online, the amount paid will be refunded to the same card within a maximum of 7 days. If you chose to pay by card on delivery, when possible we use the same method to immediately refund when delivering.
For a returned product to be accepted it must be returned in the condition in which it was purchased, including its original packaging. You will be able to return the product at one of our stores within a maximum of 15 days. After checking the condition of the product, we will immediately refund the amount in the form of a credit note. A complaints book is at your disposal in our stores and at our head office (Av. 5 de Outubro n.º 271; 8135-853 Almancil).
For refunds and returns of online orders:
If you have placed an order online in a distribution area not covered by our delivery service, you should contact us by email at myapolonia@apolonia.com, stating and including: order number, copy of the invoice, photograph of the product(s) in question and the reason for the return. After contacting us, you will receive instructions on how to proceed with the return.
Shipping costs to our premises are borne by the customer, except in cases where the reason for the return is attributable to us or the delivery company.
Important: We will not accept products sent without prior contact.
To make a return, the product should be in the condition in which it was delivered, including the original packaging. You should contact us within a maximum of 15 days. Once we have verified the condition of the products, we will refund the respective amount in the form of a ‘returns voucher’.
Product Information
Although Apolónia Online takes every care to ensure that the products information displayed on the website is always correct, the composition of the products is regularly changed. In this way, nutritional information and allergens can be affected, so the customer should always check product labels before consuming them and not rely solely on the information presented here.
Apolónia Online is not responsible for any divergences and changes in product information that were provided by the supplier or manufacturer.
All products available on the website are subject to stock availability at the time they are collected. Any product that is missing from your order will not be charged. However, you can select in your Reserved Area, a replacement option for a similar product. Thus, in case of replacement, the amount charged will be for the replacement product and not for the original ordered. You can change this replacement option whenever you like.
Note: Fresh products (meat, fish, cold meats, frozen foods, fruit, yoghurt, etc.), products with a short expiration date, large products and very heavy products are NOT available for nationwide delivery via CTT.
Product Warranty
At Apolónia Online we sell some products that are covered by the legal guarantee of two years, from the date of sale of the product, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 67/2003, of April 8 (in its latest version).
If a product is not in conformity, you can exercise your warranty right.
For this you must present it without signs of improper use and with proof of purchase. Please be advised that all perishable products, products with limited durability and others are not covered by this guarantee regime.
Right of Withdrawl
Under Decree-Law no. 143/2001 of 26.04.2001, the customer has a maximum withdrawal period of 14 days, by means of a letter to be sent to Apolónia Supermercados, S.A., Av. 5 de Outubro n.º 271; 8135-853 Almancil.
Delivery and Sales Policy
If you place your order before 7.00 pm, you may receive it within a minimum period of 24 hours, subject to delivery availability. The delivery can be scheduled within a time period of up to 7 days. If you would like a date and time different to that indicated, you should contact the Apolónia website's support team on the contacts page. You can only place an order on the Apolónia website if you have registered on it, if your postcode is covered by our delivery service and if you are 18 or over.
According to the laws in force, the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited to individuals under the age of 18. In the event of failure during the checkout process, the order value may remain ‘untouchable’ for a maximum period of 7 days.
For areas in the Algarve where deliveries are covered by our fleet, the minimum value for placing an order is €75. For orders between €75 and €125 the customer shall pay an additional delivery fee of €6. Free delivery on all orders valued €125 and above.
Online Store
For deliveries from the Online Store throughout the country, the minimum order value is €24.95. On orders of this value and above, the customer will pay an additional cost of €6 for the delivery service. For orders of more than €125, the delivery service is free. For deliveries to Madeira and Açores, the cost of the delivery service varies according to the weight of the order.
Delivery times are estimated from the date the order is processed. You should receive your order between 1 and 2 working days after purchasing it. Delivery times in Portugal's island regions may vary depending on the destination island. For more information, please visit the CTT Expresso website. Delivery times start from the moment of dispatch (excluding public holidays and weekends). You can follow the progress of your order in your customer area or via the CTT Expresso website.

When you receive your order, check that everything is as it should be. If there is visible damage to the box, you should decline the order.
If the order is lost or cannot be delivered, it may take up to 14 working days for the anomaly detection service to confirm this.
Delivery Times
Deliveries are made between 9:00am and 7:00pm everyday except for January 01, Easter Sunday and December 25, and are subject to availability. You can check which delivery slots are available when you place your order.
Order Cancellation
The customer may call or send an email to myapolonia@apolonia.com to request the cancellation of an order, provided that it has not yet in preparation. The order status can be viewed in the "My Account" area under the "Orders" tab.
Payments and Billing
You can pay for your order on the website by credit card,Visa or MasterCard. Or you can pay on delivery using your debit/credit card.
It is safe to shop online on the Apolónia website. Theentire payment method selection procedure and the entering of details inherentto processing the payment of the order is duly protected. The information isencrypted and managed with the most advanced security tools, and can only beaccessed by Apolónia.
